US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says she will continue to urge Israel to lift more roadblocks to allow West Bank residents to move more freely.
Rice made the comments after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Jerusalem. She is scheduled to meet Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah on Sunday. SocGen losses traced to 2005 ... were improving as a result of trust-building measures. After her last visit in late March, Israel said it planned to remove 61 barriers in the occupied West Bank. A UN survey found that only 44 obstacles had been scrapped and that most were insignificant.
