06.05.2008 - Another Czech charity collecting money for Burma
The Charity has set aside some 125,000 crowns for immediate needs.
On Monday, a collection for the purpose was launched by the People in Need.
The death toll of the cyclone Nargis that devastated Burma on Saturday has reached almost 22,500, while another 41,000 people are missing.
Money can be sent to the account 22770022/0800 to the Charity of the Czech Republic or to SOS Barma 836836836/0300 from the People in Need.
Money to the People in Need can also be sent through the sms in the form of DMS BARMA to the number 87777.
The Czech Foreign Ministry has donated 2.5 million crowns in support of aid to Burma.
