The EU has welcomed the victory of pro-European forces in Sunday's parliamentary elections in Serbia.
In a first statement after Belgrade's electoral commission confirmed the results, Slovenia, currently chair of the EU presidency, hailed the victory of President Boris Tadic's alliance.
