Indian media are reporting that 35 people have been killed in a series of bomb blasts in the northwestern city of Jaipur.
There's been no official confirmation of the death toll being reported by India's NDTV channel. Police said at least five bombs tore through crowded markets in the city, the capital of Rajasthan state and a popular tourist destination. Media reports say scores of people have been taken to hospital in Jaipur, some 260 kilometres from the capital New Delhi.
