Oscar-winning Hollywood filmmaker and actor Sydney Pollack has died at the age of 73, after a battle with cancer.
The New York Times reported that Pollack, whose best-known films include "Tootsie" and "The Way We Were," died at his home in Los Angeles on Monday.
