Iranian Nobel Peace Laureate Shirin Ebadi has called on members of the international media to do more to foster peace.
Speaking at the opening of the Global Media Forum here in Bonn, Ebadi said that too often media fan the flames of conflicts, rather than working to help end them. She noted that in many countries, freedom of expression is limited, and not just by government regulations.
