According to wiretappings, a bribe of up ten million crowns is suspected in the case in connection with placing state orders for biofuels production.
The man who figures in the scandal is lobbyist Frantisek Vybiral, a former CSSD member, through whom those interested in possible biofuel deals bribed civil servants and other people.
In the related case that Vesecka has now returned for completion, Vybiral allegedly mediated for Prague real estate magnate Milos Cervenka presumed police documents on the investigation into his business in return for half-a-million bribe, Tyden.cz writes.
According to it Cervenka's acquaintance said, however, the police did not investigate Cervenka's firms.
