Speaking to thousands of supporters after flying home from an African Union summit held in Egypt, the 84-year-old leader ruled out the prospect of talks with his opponents to end Zimbabwe's political crisis, unless they acknowledge his victory in the heavily criticised one-man presidential election. Tsvangirai's Movement for Democratic Change claims that pro-Mugabe militias have killed over 100 of its followers and detained some 1,500 supporters since March.
