German cyclist Stefan Schumacher has gained a surprise victory in the fourth leg of the Tour de France.
In recording his first-ever Tour stage victory, the 26-year-old also took over the race leader's yellow jersey. Luxembourg's Kim Kirchen finished second, with David Millar of Britain in third.
