One person has been killed and several others injured after an earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale hit the Greek island of Rhodes.
Local officials said a woman died after she slipped and fell as she tried to flee her home. No major damage was reported to any of the island's buildings or historical sites. The quake was felt as far away as Cyprus.
