Officials said the train, which was en route to Prague, struck at 120 kilometers an hour shortly after its driver had applied emergency brakes. On board were 400 people, including Czech, Polish and Slovakian rock music fans. Rescuers have taken the injured to 10 hospitals across the northwest of the Czech Republic.
