South African President Thabo Mbeki has arrived in Zimbabwe's capital Harare to mediate power-sharing talks between opposition and government leaders.
He was greeted at the airport by Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe. The power-sharing talks are aimed at resolving the country's political crisis after disputed and violent elections saw Mugabe return to power. Mbeki will mediate between Mugabe, Morgan Tsvangirai from the Movement for Democratic Change and Arthur Mutambara, the leader of a smaller MDC faction.
