NATO will hold an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday at Moscow's request.
The meeting to discuss the crisis in Georgia was asked for by Russian Ambassador to NATO Dmitry Rogozin. At a press conference on Monday in Tbilisi, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili accused the Kremlin of attempting to topple his government. Earlier, Saakashvili signed a ceasefire agreement proposed by European Union envoys, who will now attempt to persuade Russia to accept a truce in Georgia.
