At least three people have died in a suspected bomb blast at a police post in the Pakistani city of Lahore.
About 24 people were hurt in the explosion, police spokesman Nayyab Haider told Reuters news agency.
The attack comes as Pakistan prepares to celebrate the 61st anniversary of its independence on Thursday.
It is unclear if the blast was caused by a suicide bomber. Pakistani security forces are frequently targeted by Islamist militants.
