The Ting Tings have been nominated for video of the year at this year's MTV Music Video Awards in the US.

The Manchester pop duo's hit Shut Up and Let Me Go will go up against Britney Spears' video for Piece of Me and the Pussycat Dolls' When I Grow Up.
