A town hall representative will thus call on the organisers to dissolve the gathering. If they do not do so, the representative will call on the police to intervene," he said. Tomas Vandas, chairman of the Workers' Party that organises the event, told CTK that they expected the Town Hall to try to cancel the event at the last moment and that they are prepared for it. Vandas said the party should receive high financial compensation under the lease contract for its cancellation. He said previously he expected the event to take place between 14:00 and 19:00 and some 300-400 people to attend it, depending on the weather. Apart from political speeches, the meeting is to see concerts of bands such as Czech Attack or Slovak Before The War, which are both considered neo-Nazi groups. On their Internet page the organisers have asked the participants not to give any pretext for the "unnecessary persecution and harassment" by the police. Experts say this behaviour is dangerous as it reflect the extremists' effort to attract public attention and gradually infiltrate high politics.
