The airport protests came as thousands of activists laid siege to Bangkok's Government House for the fourth straight day, calling for Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej to resign. They accuse him of being an illegitimate proxy of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra who was ousted by a military coup in 2006.
