Sehwag sets up thumping India win ... buy atomic energy equipment after the group of 45 nations which regulate the global nuclear market approved a US proposal to lift a ban on nuclear trade with the south east Asian nation.
The move signifies a breakthrough towards sealing a US-Indian atomic energy deal. Critics say the deal would undermine the arguments for isolating Iran over its nuclear programme as India is not a member of the nuclear non-proliferation Treaty. Washington says the fuel and technology deal would forge a strategic partnership with the world's largest democracy, help India meet rising energy demand in an environmentally sound way and open a nuclear market worth billions of dollars.
