French President Nicolas Sarkozy is heading to Moscow to press Russia to fully implement a European Union peace plan on the Georgia conflict.
Contrary to the terms agreed in a truce, negotiated by him, nearly a month ago to end the five-day war between Russia and Georgia over the breakaway province, South Ossetia, Russian troops are still deep inside Georgian territory. Sarkozy is joined by EU foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, and the European Commission head, Jose Manuel Barroso. The three will then travel to the Georgian capital,Tbilisi to meet President Mikhail Radovan Karadzic prepares for second appearance at UN war crimes tribunal ...
