All 27 EU states have to ratify the accord, which requires Serbia's full cooperation with the international war crimes court in The Hague and in return makes Serbia eligible for certain trade benefits. The vote on the SAA comes after a two-month delay instigated by the Serbian Radical party which has opposed ties with the EU since the bloc recognised Kosovan independence.
