Jacques resigns as head Czech Greens' deputies ... was collecting compromising documents to blackmail Greens deputy Olga Zubova who often expressed opinions that differ from the government's. Morava gave up his deputy's mandate on Monday, saying that he yielded to provocation due to his naivety. "There are still some questions. The coalition partner should be trustworthy," Jakubkova said. "The commission should arrive at a result acceptable for all," she added. Jakubkova and Zubova belong to the party faction that is at odds with re-elected party leader Martin Bursik. If they left the Greens' group in the Chamber of Deputies, the fragile majority of the government would be threatened. Jakubkova said earlier today she "had a problem" with the budget of transport infrastructure for next year. Jakubkova said she would like to resolve the problems of the smallest, six-member deputies' group of the Greens, before the October session of the Chamber of Deputies with budget on its agenda. Bursik said at the party congress at the weekend he would ask regional organisations to speak with Jakubkova and Zubova. Jakubkova said she felt grass-roots support in her region, while communication with deputies was not within the regional branches' powers. According to the commercial television station Nova, Morava tried to spread sensitive photographs featuring Tlusty, but it was Tlusty who had intentionally staged the photographs along with journalists and played the role of a provocateur. Tlusty heads the faction of opponents of Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek in the ODS. Departure from the ODS deputies' group is being considered by Tlusty's allies Juraj Raninec and Jan Schwippel if it is still headed by Petr Tluchor who, they say, must have known about Morava's effort.
