Czech, US experts close talks on industrial cooperation agreement ... Czech scientists and found them both guilty of all charges on Monday. The court today called Svacha, 51, a victim of coincidences. Svacha, from the Czech Academy of Sciences' Entomological Institute, is allowed to leave for the Czech Republic, Kmonicek said. The appeals proceedings in the case of Kucera, 52, would take place in November. Kucera, 52, paid a bail of 6000 rupees and can stay at liberty, but he must not leave India. Svacha and Kucera were detained on June 22 near the Singalia National Park, some 90 kilometers away from Darjeeling.
They allegedly kept more than 200 specimens of rare beetles and butterfly larvae, but they did not have an official authorisation to collect them. The men have dismissed the accusations since the beginning, saying they did not enter the Singalia park at all.
