The number of immigrants coming to Germany is on the decrease. That's according to the latest figures released by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
In its annual report on migration, the Paris-based organisation said that a total of 216,000 people settled in Germany in 2006. That's down 11 percent from 2005. This compared to an average five-percent increase in the 30 countries that belong to the OECD.
