In Iraq, a car-bombing has killed at least 30 people and wounded dozens of others in a mainly Shi'ite town north of Baghdad. Officials said the attack targeted a police station in Dujail.
The bomb went off just before dusk when the streets were crowded with people waiting to break the fast of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. This was one of the worst attacks the country has seen in months.
