The airline says traffic controllers lost contact with Flight 821 at a height of 1,100 metres as the Boeing 737-500 was coming into land at Perm. It was on a flight from Moscow. Russian media say firefighters extinguished smouldering wreckage on Perm's outskirts. One of the plane's two black boxes has been found and handing over to experts for decoding. Aeroflot says it has set up crises centres for victims' relatives at Perm and at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport.
