Afghan police say two local doctors employed by the United Nations have been killed in a car bomb attack on a UN convoy at Spin Boldak in southeastern Afghanistan.
Two other UN employees, five Afghan guards and 10 civilians had also been wounded. The incident has not been confirmed by the United Nations. In the central Afghan province of Ghazni seven local policemen were killed in an ambush on Saturday evening. Responsibility was claimed in a statement posted on a Taliban website. A police spokesman said one officer is still missing.
