14.09.2008 - Germany's Sebastian Vettel becomes youngest-ever Grand Prix winner

German Sebastian Vettel has won the Italian Grand Prix, becoming the youngest-ever winner of a Formula One race.

The Toro Roso driver beat Heiki Kovalainen in a McLaren-Mercedes into second place. Third place went to Robert Kubica in a BMW-Sauber. The 21-year-old started from pole position at the rain-soaked Monsa race track. Briton Lewis Hamilton finished seventh and retains the leadership of driver's championship.
