NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer is to visit Georgia on Monday.
The move is intended to coordinate NATO support for the country following last month's conflict with Russia. Scheffer will lead all 26 NATO ambassadors on the two-day visit, to include talks with President Mikheil Saakashvili on Tblisi's bid to join the military alliance as well as reconstruction needs.
