German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier is to meet his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki in Berlin to discuss Tehran's nuclear programme.
The talks are part of a series of meetings between the European Union and Iran aimed at resolving Iran's nuclear standoff with the West. The Berlin meeting comes as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) released a new report on Iran's nuclear programme. The report says Iran has failed to provide information that would clear up allegations it was conducting research for a nuclear weapons programme.
